RUNNING FOR THE FUTURE

FUNDRAISING runner Sabrina

LOCAL RUNNER, Sabrina Culver, decided that she wanted to help people in her community struggling due to the pandemic.
Sabrina has become a keen runner and set herself a challenge to run a half marathon and at the same time raise funds for Bechange.
BECHANGE
Due to Covid restrictions, Sabrina was unable to run in the usual local half marathons so using Strava to track her route she completed 13.1 miles around the local villages, raising £335 for Bechange. Angela Doggett, Manager at Bechange said “This is an amazing achievement. Sabrina is so motivated to go out and train in the cold and wet weather.
FAMILIES
“She first approached us about fundraising when she heard the support we were giving families during the school holidays.
“We ensured they had enough food for children during the half term and wanted to be able to assist with the work we have been doing to help people get food during this crisis.
“We are so grateful that she chose our charity and the funds will go towards helping people in the local area”
